Dog is my co-pilot

I recently had some more guests to my new mid-Atlantic home. My uncle Eli ("Dai-Dai"), my aunt Christina ("Kiki") and my dog-cousin, Nessa ("Sessa"). Playing host is fun because you get to walk into the living room in your pajamas and wake up your guests by repeatedly saying their name until they groggily acknowledge your existence at 6 a.m. And then you get to pull up the covers and tug at their socks..

Plus, I've developed some core words like "Let's go!" to get people onto my two year old schedule.

I also have a very special relationship with my dog cousin, Sessa. Normally she usually runs scared - I am about 35 lbs and do not know my own strength, she is 4 1/2 lbs and doesn't like being assaulted by a two year old she sees as the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man from Ghostbusters. On this trip however, we developed a new fondness for one another.
